NOTE: If you are paying on a PC, please be careful when scrolling the page with the wheel of your mouse. If the payment amount field still has focus, you can accidentally change the amount entered when scrolling the page down. Make sure to confirm the payment amount entered before clicking the Checkout button.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PAY THE SAME FEES MORE THAN ONCE! While most transactions will be instant, some may take 1-2 business days to process. If you have submitted a payment on the PayIt website, and you do not see it reflected here on the portal, you can contact the Treasury Department at (716) 851-5723 (Monday through Friday 8:15AM - 5:00PM) to confirm your payment was received.
When paying a Rental Registration:
- Please take a moment to update the information on your rental registration by clicking "Rental Registration New Application / Update Form" in the main menu above.
Instructions:
- The ID Number is the permit number, license number, or case number for the record you wish to apply a payment to. If you received an invoice, this will be the Bill Number at the top of the document.
- You must pay the exact amount due shown on your invoice.
- Please note, if you are using One-Time Payment, you can request a payment confirmation email from the City of Buffalo after payment has been completed.
